Bio
Randy Williams

Randy Williams is Santa Monica, Calif. resident whose father climbed to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro when he was 60. Randy said he wants to duplicate his father’s feat, while also climbing in the name of prostate cancer awareness.

“With 30,000 annual deaths, prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among men.” Willliams said. “200,000 new patients diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. That’s in America alone. Sickening numbers especially considering it’s highly treatable if detected early. If we can help save one life by drawing public awareness about being pro-active in matters of health, this considerable physical undertaking will be worth it all.”

Randy is a veteran journalist and has worked in television broadcasting and event management for sporting events including the Olympics and World Cup Soccer in Russian, China, Japan, Mexico, Australia, Spain and Korea. He has been an active fundraiser for the Prostate Cancer Climb.
