"Prostate cancer, like breast cancer and most other diseases, will not be solved until more than just those who are directly affected show signs of caring," Holly says. "I first saw Mt. Kilimanjaro 25 yeas ago, but did not climb it. Now I'm hoping to go up this incredible mountain with a group of men who have a lot to teach me about getting a second chance."
Proceeds of the Prostate Cancer Climb will go exclusively to funding education and research. Distribution of the Hap Weyman Memorial Prostate Cancer Project Fund will be determined by the Independent Educational Research Funding Committee (IERFC). |
