Bio
Glenn Weaver

Executive Director of the Prostate Cancer Research Institute in Los Angeles and a veteran of the first Prostate Cancer Climb on Mt. Aconcagua, Argentina. Weaver, who’s father died of colon cancer, reached 21,000 feet on the Western Hemisphere’s highest mountain before yielding to the bone-chilling temperatures and gale-force winds.

“Each person on this climb is finding out that their individual path has been significantly altered,” said Weaver, a Los Angeles resident. “The more that perceptions about prostate cancer are changed, the better chance we have of finally beating it.”

Weaver has promised to reach the Mt. Kilimanjaro summit in the name of prostate cancer awareness. He also has climbed Mt. Whitney and White Mountain in the California Sierras.
