You are Visitor # John Loesing, Project Director Dr. Terry Weyman, Founder | PROSTATE CANCER CLIMB I Climb to Make a Difference
Over 10 years ago my Aunt and her boyfriend asked me if I wanted to learn how to climb. With their skill and patience taught me how to climb, but more importantly, taught to believe in my abilities and myself. Since that start, I have climbed Denali, Pico De Orizaba, and many of the mountains in the Sierra Nevada. I have always believed that if I could use my abilities in climbing to make a difference, I would. I believe in climbing for a cause, and believe in representing all the men who will not ever be able to climb a mountain due to Prostate Cancer. This climb is a climb not only to challenge the human spirit, but a climb for humanity. The success of this climb is not based solely on the summit, but the awareness raised about Prostate Cancer. I have met more and more people who have this life changing disease. This climb is just the tip of the iceberg, and I am proud to be involved in it. Thank You, Proceeds of the Prostate Cancer Climb will go exclusively to funding education and research. No portion of the proceeds will be designated for operating or administrative expenses. Distribution of the Hap Weyman Memorial Prostate Cancer Project Fund will be determined by the Independent Educational Research Funding Committee (IERFC). |
